Our biennial Hands Across the Valley Quilt Guild Show will be held on April 24 and 25, 2027 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Campus Center.

The 20th “Hands All Around” Quilt Show will be held April 24 and 25, 2027 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Campus Center.

We expect the 2027 show to feature more than 200 quilts by our talented members as well as a special exhibit on quilted clothing.

Live Demonstrations: Free demonstrations by guild members of quilt-related techniques will be offered both Saturday and Sunday. These will include a session on quilting basics for people new to quilting, as well as tips and techniques for current quilters of varied skill levels.

Raffle Quilt: Proceeds from the ticket sales for our twos raffle quilt are donated to hospice and charities selected by the membership of the guild.

Raffle Baskets: There will be a variety of themed baskets full of goodies raffled off to support charitable causes.

Vendors: We will have vendors displaying their wares.

Mini-Quilt Sale: At least 100 small and mini-quilts featuring traditional and contemporary designs will be available for purchase.

>>>Admission: Adults $10, kids 12 and under FREE (when accompanied by paid attendee), students and active military $5 (must show ID)

>>>Group Admission: Contact us in advance to arrange for your group of 10 or more to visit our show at a discounted admission cost of $8 each.  We look forward to hearing from you.

>>>Parking: Parking at the University of Massachusetts: There are a few locations that you are able to park on the Campus, dependent on what your needs are. The Campus Center Garage is connected directly to the Campus Center and offers an underground parking lot, direct access to the building, however there is a cost associated. Please see the Campus Center Mapping Details.

Another location on campus that is close to the Campus Center, is Lot # 63. This lot offers Free Parking on the weekends, however it is a longer walk to the Campus Center and you will be walking outside.

Lastly, you can park in Lot # 65, where you will have a longer walk, however you will not be walking uphill- rather at the same level as the Campus Center entrance. This can be an easier walk if you have any difficulty with walking uphill on an incline.
